Lego(land/ Builders)

 

This is one of those posts I’d saved as a draft, but not got around to writing!  I thought about it again a couple of weeks ago after a visit to Legoland in Windsor, although still didn’t get around to it.  Today was my daughters 5th Birthday party, and we’d arrange a Lego Masterbuilders party, so thought I’d try and blog about everything at once! Bloggers Block

Not really, but I just Googled ‘bloggers block’ and was amazed to see it’s a real thing!  Pages and pages of useful tips for when I do suffer, but my problem at the minute is time and the lack of.

I think I have more draft posts saved than I have actual posts, and I’ve even started to write a few, but other things seem to have got in the way this month.  Luckily, my contract finishes at the end of the month (2 days to go), and I don’t have anything lined up yet, so will hopefully have some spare time in between job hunting, finishing a few Udemy courses, catching up on a few box sets, and looking after my daughter over the Easter holidays to finish some off and get around to some of the others. When did BA become RyanAir?

I haven’t flown with British Airways (BA) for a couple of years, but the last time I did they still allowed you to pick a seat when checking in and provided a complimentary drink and snack en route. 

Just back from a short trip to Oxford (via London Heathrow) and was seriously disappointed that BA wanted £7-15 each way to change the preallocated seat and now charge for their Marks and Spencer branded in-flight service. Given they are generally more expensive than RyanAir, EasyJet, Jet2, FlyBe, etc. what are BA planning to do to differentiate their service from any of the others? (more…)

Ping Pong

I played ping pong for a bit of fun at university, mainly when there wasn’t a pool table free in the students union!  I always enjoyed it, but never really considered it as a great way to keep fit.  After a couple of sessions at a local course I’ve signed up I now know it is!
