I can’t remember where the seed of this project was found, but when it was planted in my 7-year-old daughter’s mind it took root and grew over a number of our daily dog walks. Given we’re now in lockdown and are always looking for interesting and creative things to do at home, the time seemed right to make it happen. Fortunately, I came across this excellent series on YourTube from Explaining Computers which became the template for our Jnr Trak (aka Devastator tank mobile robot platform) project.

You can probably tell from the flurry of blogs, that I’m catching up on a few things I drafted over the last few weeks! The Apple AirPod Pro was my lastest purchase, which I picked up from the Apple store last Thursday (31 October), the day after they were launched!
What a name, although I guess it does cover all of the bases – a MJX Bugs 4W brushless (motor) with GPS (Global Positioning System) RC (Remote Controlled) with 2K (or just over 1080p) camera and 5G (802.11ac) WiFi for FPV (First Person View) and Optical Flow (and Ultrasonic Drop) Drone!
