Philately
I don’t think I’d go as far as to describe myself as a Philatelist, but I do quite like stamps! (more…)

Not really, but I just Googled ‘bloggers block’ and was amazed to see it’s a real thing! Pages and pages of useful tips for when I do suffer, but my problem at the minute is time and the lack of.
I think I have more draft posts saved than I have actual posts, and I’ve even started to write a few, but other things seem to have got in the way this month. Luckily, my contract finishes at the end of the month (2 days to go), and I don’t have anything lined up yet, so will hopefully have some spare time in between job hunting, finishing a few Udemy courses, catching up on a few box sets, and looking after my daughter over the Easter holidays to finish some off and get around to some of the others. I haven’t flown with British Airways (BA) for a couple of years, but the last time I did they still allowed you to pick a seat when checking in and provided a complimentary drink and snack en route.
Just back from a short trip to Oxford (via London Heathrow) and was seriously disappointed that BA wanted £7-15 each way to change the preallocated seat and now charge for their Marks and Spencer branded in-flight service. I played ping pong for a bit of fun at university, mainly when there wasn’t a pool table free in the students union! I always enjoyed it, but never really considered it as a great way to keep fit. After a couple of sessions at a local course I’ve signed up I now know it is!
I used to love cycling as a kid and have many happy memories of spending hours and hours, not really going anywhere but hanging out with friends and having fun.
I’ve seen these decals on other people’s Mac’s before, and always thought they looked a bit tacky, but when I saw this one pop up in my Facebook feed, I couldn’t help but click the link.
It cost less than £10 delivered from www.decalontop.com so I was seduced by the Dark Side 😀
It was a bit of a pain to detach from the backing paper and then transfer onto my Macbook, and initially, I wasn’t too impressed as it had a number of trapped air bubbles (even after trying to move them to an edge of a credit card) which made it look a bit naff.
After a few days though they’ve completely gone, and I now think it looks great! Hopefully, it will last the 3 years I plan to keep it for…
