Is brilliant! I thought the last update I made to Calibre Server (from 2.something to 3.8) was good, and I blogged about it (a little) here, but Calibre-web is a whole new gravy!

Upgrading jails in FreeNAS has always been a little problematic. It’s slightly less so now, but is still fraught with danger and never to be taken lightly. This was going to be the story of one such upgrade (my SSL-Proxy jail) but thinking about it over the past few weeks has turned it into more of an overview of the different ways of upgrading jails.

In a previous blog, I’d talked about installing a FreeBSD Desktop environment called TrueOS here and here. I wanted to try something a little different this time, and Project Trident is the latest option from iXsystems, who also make FreeNAS, so this looked like a good place to start.
