A few months ago I migrated almost all of my FreeNAS jails from Warden to iocage, but the OpenVPN one proved too much of a challenge. I had another go today and now have a working OpenVPN iocage jail!

(more…)I like playing around with the latest versions of FreeNAS before they are released, but not by running the latest version on my main server. Oh no! The best way to do this is to create a FreeNAS VM on the FreeNAS server, although after upgrading to 11.1-U4 I was struggling to make this work.
If you’ve read part 1 and 2, I promise this will be the last one where I’m going to talk about how I rebuilt my iocage jails, talking each one in turn.
