Let&#8217;s start with saying it&#8217;s good. \u00a0How good is always a little subjective, but I&#8217;d say it&#8217;s in the &#8216;Good Range&#8217; with The Force Awakens and Rogue One. \u00a0I&#8217;ll need to watch again at a more sociable\u00a0hour, and in 2D before I give a final verdict, but at the minute I feel it&#8217;s not quite as good as those, but not by much. \u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d booked a 3D screening last night as it was on the biggest screen, otherwise, I&#8217;d have gone 2D. \u00a0I think the Star Wars films work better in 2D, and sitting through a 3D double-bill didn&#8217;t seem like too much fun. \u00a0It needed the biggest screen possible though, so 3D was purchased. \u00a0Not sure why, but the screening I ended up in was in a pretty small theatre, so that didn&#8217;t quite work! \u00a0I was booked for row Q somewhere in the middle. \u00a0I ended up in row J!<\/p>\n<p>They did a pretty good job with the trailer though, as it really didn&#8217;t give away too much of the story, and there were a few surprises that they&#8217;d managed to keep well under wrapps. \u00a0It tried a little too hard for laughs at times, but maybe I was expecting this middle film to be a little darker and less funny. \u00a0I don&#8217;t remember too many comedy moments in Empire, but again I might have been setting the bar a little too high.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, that&#8217;s all for now. \u00a0I&#8217;ll watch it again, hopefully before Christmas, and give everyone time before posting a more detailed review and some spoilers&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I&#8217;ll just leave this here for now. \u00a0Ticket booked for the 13th December starting with a 21:00 showing of Episode VII The Force Awakens followed by a 00:01 showing of Episode VIII The Last Jedi. \u00a0Starting to get a little excited, so there will be more to come&#8230;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.starwars.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/home.apeconsulting.co.uk\/adrian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/11\/star-wars-the-last-jedi-trailer.jpg\" class=\"size-full alignnone http:\/\/www.starwars.com wp-image-20840\" height=\"1100\" alt=\"The Last Jedi Poster\" width=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/home.apeconsulting.co.uk\/adrian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/11\/star-wars-the-last-jedi-trailer.jpg 800w, https:\/\/home.apeconsulting.co.uk\/adrian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/11\/star-wars-the-last-jedi-trailer-218x300.jpg 218w, https:\/\/home.apeconsulting.co.uk\/adrian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/11\/star-wars-the-last-jedi-trailer-768x1056.jpg 768w, https:\/\/home.apeconsulting.co.uk\/adrian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/11\/star-wars-the-last-jedi-trailer-745x1024.jpg 745w, https:\/\/home.apeconsulting.co.uk\/adrian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/11\/star-wars-the-last-jedi-trailer-610x839.jpg 610w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, a quick update, obviously\u00a0without any spoilers\u00a0given most sensible people won&#8217;t be seeing until later today (no excused beyond that!)
